We are happy to be able to provide a way for you to find and browse information on local nonprofit organizations with whom we have worked and/or for whom we have provided funding.  This tool is a joint project of The Community Foundation and United Way of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County.  As a donor-advisor or potential supporter of local nonprofits through either of our organizations or directly, we hope we have made it easier for you to consider where your interests lie.

At the nonprofit search website, you will be able to find area nonprofits alphabetically, or based on focus areas, or key words.  You will then be given a list of nonprofits to choose from.  Once chosen, a summary page will come up on that particular organization with a link to their website for further details, as you wish.

Sometimes giving money is not what you are looking for.  Our nonprofit search gives you an easy way to volunteer and/or find out more about volunteering your time, which is often the most valuable gift you can give.
